We'll be meeting at the Harbor Town Tiki Bar. Plan up to be there about 3:00 on the day of the trip, once everyone is on board, cast off and head down the Caloosahatchee River to our first anchorage for the night in Popcorn Bay. Next morning it's anchor's up and head out to Picnic Island. Nice beach and you can explore the island. There will be two 1200 Yamaha jet skies for you to use. For those that wish to go to Sanibel Island for shelling, it's just a short hop on the jet skies. An ocean Kayak will be on board for your use as well, it's great for exploring / fishing some of the smaller out islands and the mangroves in the area. Depending on the mood of the crew and weather conditions. Spending the night at either Givney Key or finding a nice anchorage in Matanzas Pass both with advantages'. Givney Key is secluded and a quit anchorage. Being well out of the channel, sunbathing and skinny dipping would be just fine here. Matanzas Pass is the entrance to Ft. Myers beach with lots of boat traffic but easy to get into town. Restaurants, bars and shops abound ! No nudity here. Sunday we'll be back at the dock about 3 or 4 in the afternoon.
Everything is included in the price, boat, fuel, food, kayak, jet skies and as always. BYOB and a snack to share would be nice. Need special mixers? Best to bring your own.
