Sail with Capt. Dale

We'll be meeting at Millers Marina in Suwannee, Florida. Map quest on Miller's Marina in Suwannee, Florida. We will be leaving Paradise Lakes about 9:00 A.M. if you'd like to carpool or follow us . The phone number of the marina is 1-800-458-2628 or 352-542-7349 . Plan to be at the marina no latter then 3:00 so we have time to load the boat. The houseboats are fully equipped with range, refrigerator, BBQ, dishes, generator, VHS radio and full bath. Just bring your personal items, swim suit, snorkel gear and a wetsuit might be needed. This is BYOB and bring your own mixers and a snack to share would be nice. Please don't over pack, space is limited, you'll find that a couple of towels three changes of clothes, light jacket, pillow, light blanket  and bug spray will do just fine.

 Food is included. There maybe an additional charge for fuel, due to the increases in the fuel cost

The Suwannee River is truly a time capsule, There is no commercial boat traffic, no industry, no housing delovpments or condo's!! Leave your cel phones home on this one, there is no service on the Suwannee River. We have a DVD player for music. Bring some CD's

We'll be leaving the dock at 4:00. if you're going to be latter then this, we'll have a water taxi for you. Once out on the Suwannee River we'll be heading up stream to our first anchorage for the night. The River is wide and slow and and anchoring anywhere is no-problem-mon.

Head further up river about 6 hours we'll dock at Manatee Springs. You can snorkel in the springs and perhaps see a few Manatees, best time of the year for manatees is from Oct to March.  Water is 72 Deg. so wetsuit maybe needed during the colder months but in the summer it feels great!

On a three day trip we would have time to head up stream about 6 hrs to Fanny Springs, More manatees. When everyone has had enough manatees and swimming around, We'll find a nice little place to anchor for the night. The following morning it's back to the marina. The journey will be with the current, should be back about 4:00 .

Weekend trip (Fri-Sat nights)  450.00 per cpl.; 3-day weekend trip 500.00 per cpl; 7-Day trips are 750.00 per cpl.
